I attended the 2012 St. Paul Craftstravaganza on Saturday, May 12. According to the event’s organizers, this is an annual “urban craft fair.” This was my first time attending, and there were a lot of great artists in attendance.
Here are some things that struck my fancy:
Jean’s Clay Studio had some plates, bowls and cups with great designs. My friends and I all loved the robot love series. I also really liked the gnome plates and cups.
Kelly Hanson Handmade offered some colorful accessories made out of felt.
Tiny Hands offers food-inspired jewelry that smells like the food it looks like. Stopping by their booth had me craving pumpkin pie!
Adam Turman has some great posters of Minneapolis/St. Paul. I really liked this bikes & books print.
Crafterall creates 3D artwork of lakes and waterways out of multi-colored paper.
And finally, the adorable felt creations from Gentry Night Studios. The best part about these little guys is the bio that they come with. My friend purchased a fox who is quite the ladies’ man.
