Hand Painted Mugs :: DIY

I first discovered this great diy project on Wit & Whistle via Pinterest (where else?). Hand painted coffee mugs look so great because you can tell they are handmade! This project is definitely on my list of handmade gifts for Christmas.

I’m going to try it out with the Pebeo Porcelaine 150 Paint Markers, which came in a variety of great colors including peacock and peridot. I’ve been looking around for some design inspiration, and here are some of my favs. These designs are quite a bit more advanced than my own art skills. I’ll definitely post pics of my creations when they’re done.

    • I’m planning to try this next month. My goal this year is to give everyone on my Christmas list one handmade gift and one purchased gift. So I’m giving myself plenty of time to get it done!

    • I’m always amazed by the creativity of others! I’m not much of an artist, so mine will be more of the line and dot variety. The detail of the Little Red Riding Hood mug is amazing!
