A friend of mine is expecting her first baby – a little girl! She is decorating her room in yellow and cream chevron stripes. I’m currently knitting her the Chevron Baby Blanket designed by the Purl Bee in soft yellow and vanilla stripes.
Chevron stripes are everywhere right now, so I wanted the card to match the blanket. But everything I’ve seen has just plain stripes. I decided to put baby related clipart into the yellow stripe, and I think it turned out really cute! I tried to leave these gender neutral so you can use them for a baby girl or baby boy. Enjoy!
How to Print and Cut the Labels
What you’ll need:
- Paper cutter – the rotary paper trimmers that are popular with crafters work best, but you can also use a t-square and razor blade. Scissors make it tricky to get a perfect square.
The cards are designed for a printer with 0.25″ margins. Each card is W 5″ x H 6.75″ flat, W 5 x H 3.375″ folded (fits in A1 envelope). Start measuring and cutting from the top left corner. Trim 0.25″ from top edge and left edge, then measure and cut top card. There is 0.25″ gutter between the two cards. After cutting out first card, cut off the 0.25″ gutter, then measure and cut second card.
NOTE – these are offered for your personal use only. You cannot reproduce for profit or present as an original design.
